Originally the head office building for MIKIMOTO, it was renewed on December 10, 2005 as MIKIMOTO Ginza 2 with the concept “Beginning of Happiness”.  From the first basement to the sixth floor of MIKIMOTO Ginza 2 are various shops; cosmetics, jewelry, and restaurants all in one amazing building.

The exterior, designed by Mr.Toyoo Ito, has the image of “Bubbles, Pearls, Flowers, Jewelry Box, & Mystery”.  The building’s interior was designed by Mr. Ichiro Nishiwaki.

Our Chef, Mr. Yokota Hideo, was born in Saitama Prefecture in 1959.
After graduating he was the executive chef for many prestigious hotels such as the Tokyo Prince Hotel, Ginza L’ecrin, ANA Hotel Tokyo and Park Hyatt Tokyo. Following his experience he opened his own restaurant, Oakwood in Saitama Prefecture in May 2004.

In addition to his above experience, he served as the head of Japan’s team and an international judge at the World Pastry Cup in 2003 and 2005. He has also been awarded many prizes both at home and abroad.

About Our Organic Tea Selection
Produced by farming methods following the Rikuu in Mount Huangshan, a registered World Heritage site.  Our teas are completely additive free and chemical free, and are organically grown without any chemical fertilizer.
